DONATIONS

Please call ahead for large donations like furniture and full carloads 

We do not provide a pick-up/drop-off service. We cannot accept items that are ripped, stained, contain pet hair, or smell like smoke. We do not have "after hours" donation bins and items left outside of donation hours will not be processed.
Please do not leave unwanted items or garbage outside our store.

Items we accept for donation:​

• Clothing (size 2T and up; no baby clothes)
• Shoes, boots, jewelry, sunglasses, purses, bags
• Lamps, mirrors, artwork, and frames
• Houseware items such as dishes, glassware, pots & pans, kitchen utensils, home décor, and more
• Linen items such as bedding, towels, drapery, shower curtains, and decorative pillows
• Small appliances in good working condition (microwaves, coffee makers, toasters, blenders, space heaters, humidifiers, etc.)
• Toys, games, and puzzles
• DVDs, CDs, and vinyl records
• Musical instruments, songbooks, and equipment (e.g. music stands)
• Sporting goods such as skates, hockey equipment, skis, skateboards, cleats, balls, bats, bicycles, etc.
• Tools, hardware, and lawn and garden equipment (nothing with a gas tank)
• Antiques, collectibles, and clocks
• Small furniture (side tables, chairs, coffee tables, desks, etc.) and carpets
• Books, stationery, and school supplies​
• Fabric and craft/sewing supplies
• Pet items (jackets, carriers, leashes, food bowls, etc.)

We are always happy to accept donations of plastic or cloth shopping bags and packing materials such as newspapers, bubble wrap, or tissue paper. 
​We also accept all sorts of metal, e-waste and lightbulbs, which we recycle and receive money for.

We now accept food donations on behalf of NBUC's Food Cupboard, which helps provide basic groceries to families in need throughout the year. Please bring any non-perishable, non-expired food and personal care item donations to the back door as normal. 

Items we CANNOT accept for donation:

• Baby and infant clothing (under size 2T)
• Cribs and bassinets
• Car seats and booster seats
• Baby walkers, exersaucers, and jolly jumpers
• Uncertified play pens, strollers, safety gates, or other infant equipment
• Lawn darts
• Cosmetics, make-up, perfume, and nail polish (even unopened)
• Uncertified sports gear (including helmets of any kind)
• Textbooks
• Computers (laptop or desktop), cell phones, and tablets
• Mattresses (any size)
• Large furniture such as couches, beds, wall units, hutches, etc.
• Gas-powered tools or equipment
• House plants or garden plants
• Paint cans, aerosol containers, garden chemicals, or other hazardous waste items (batteries and electronics are the exception and can be recycled at our store)​​​
